Patrick graduated from the university of Ondersterpoordt, South Africa in 1990 with a Batchelor of Veterinary Science degree. He also has a second degree in animal agriculture which he obtained at the University of Natal, South Africa. His areas of interest are small animals and soft tissue surgery. Patrick has been treating Anderson's pets since 2001.
Dan joined our practice in 2014 as a Veterinary Care Assistant. He started his studies in veterinary medicine at the University of Surrey in 2015 while continuing to work with us, gaining hands-on experience along the way. He qualified in July 2020 and is now a full time member of our veterinary team, acting as both veterinary surgeon and part of our management team. Dan has a special interest in surgery and is currently pursuing an advanced qualification to be able to provide more in-depth soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures.
Lada joined our team in April 2023 after practicing as a vet in Slovakia for two years post graduation. Working as part of a team for a non profit animal rescue organisation, she worked with abandoned cats. She has two cats of her own, loves horse riding, being in nature and keeping fit and healthy. Lada is a great addition to our team and looks forward to getting to know our Bromley Common pet family.
Madison joined our team in 2024 having qualified as a vet from the Royal Veterinary College. She grew up in South Carolina and previously completed an undergraduate degree in Marine Science and Biology at the University of Miami, Florida. In her freetime Madison enjoys interests such as travelling, hiking and scuba diving.
Tommy graduated in 1994. He started his own practice in Israel before relocating to the UK in 2005, where he was practice principal for 16 years while pursuing further training. He has obtained a post-gradudate certificate in Small Animal Surgery and has developed an in-house referral service. Tommy visits regularly to perform advanced surgical procedures (soft tissue and orthopaedic) in the clinic. His professional interest is orthopaedic surgery and innovations, having invented and developed several new orthopaedic implants. He also has an interest in teaching and has been involved as an instructor in courses for other vets to learn certain orthopaedic techniques.
Andre graduated in Portugal in 2011. After 2 years in general practice there he moved to the UK to pursue his passion of surgery. He has spent time at many well renowned referral centres in the UK and has obtained a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Surgery and gained the Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery status. Alongside Tommy, Andre is also able to provide advanced surgical procedures in the clinic. Andre continues to keep up to date with further training, leading edge research and the most advanced techniques.
Simone joined Anderson's Vet Clinic as Practice Manager after many years working in the cosmetic industry as Training Manager. When the Practice Manager position at Anderson's Vet Clinic became available, Simone knew it would be the perfect opportunity for her to shift career focus, while working in a setting that would allow her plenty of puppy, kitten and people interaction. In her spare time Simone loves bird watching, walking, reading and geneology.
Amy is a registered veterinary nurse who first joined us in 2017. Amy offers oral care clinics and bespoke weight clinics which are very popular. She has a deaf Jack Russell named Leo, and she communicates with him using sign language and facial expressions. She also has two cats that she rescued from the clinic. Amy is always happy to answer any questions.
Sophie started with us in July 2019 as a volunteer. She has a degree in Zoology and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2024. She has two Maine Coon cats, a Labrador, a Tamaskan and two Chinchillas. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, reading and singing both solo and with choirs.
Ali joined Bromley Common Vets in 2021 and loves being with the team! She has previously worked in various other veterinary surgeries over the years. She has two cats, Percy and Scooby. Her hobbies are playing netball and skiing regularly with her family.
Alison originally joined Bromley Common Vets in 2000. She joined the veterinary retail industry before returning to us in October 2016. She has two dogs: Ninja, a Border Terrier and a new pup Bella, a Patterdale Terrier. In Alison's spare time she enjoys Latin and ballroom dancing and rock and roll.
Lesley joined Bromley Common Vets in 2022 having previously worked for a local independent vet for 10 years. She has had numerous pets over the years and currently has three cats, two rabbits and a number of tropical fish and goldfish. In her spare time she enjoys sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.
Helen joined the Anderson's group in 2011. She was based at the Orpington branch until she moved to Bromley Common in January 2023. Helen is always happy to answer any questions around insurance claims, at which she is quite a pro! She has two very pampered cats, Millie and Midnight.
Holly joined us in 2024 as part of our reception team. She has completed a degree in Marketing from the University of Westminster, graduating in 2024. Outside of work, she and Helen make sure that their cats, Millie and Midnight are thoroughly spoiled! She also enjoys reading and running.
Rachel became part of our veterinary care team in 2023, bringing with her experience from working at other clinics in the Southeast. She is passionate about animal rescue and rehabilitation, and as such has fostered dogs for several years in her own home.
Vicki joined us in 2019 before pursuing a degree in Zoology at the University of Reading from 2021 to 2024. In late 2024, Vicki has returned to work full time with us as a veterinary care assistant. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her horse, Bentley, who makes sure to keep her busy!
