Patrick Dooley BSc BVSc MRCVS
Graduated from the university of Ondersterpoordt, South Africa in 1990 with a batchelor of veterinary science degree. He also has a second degree in animal agriculture which he obtained at the university of Natal, South Africa. His areas of interest are small animals, soft tissue surgery and exotics.
Patrick feels that the most rewarding part of his job is sharing a pets life from birth through the senior years. 'When I am there from the first puppy/kitten visit all the way through to the time to say goodbye, and I have had the opportunity to help the pet live a good life, I feel a sense of fulfillment and privilege that I have been able to share such an amazing time."
Outside of work Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, reading, walking, cooking and just enjoying life in general. He is a sports nut and enjoys keeping tabs on just about any sport you want to name. Patrick is a member of the BSAVA association and the SAVA association.
Agata Monika Zienkiewicz
The team at Anderson’s extend a warm welcome to our newest veterinary surgeon, Agata. She comes with a passion for all animals and a particular interest in exotics. It’s a great addition for our senior vet, Patrick, to have another vet keen on exotics.
Agata graduated with a degree in veterinary science in 2013 and has since obtained a wealth of experience both in her home country of Poland and here in England.
In her free time, Agata enjoys bird watching, krav maga, traditional archery, bike riding and listening to jazz and rock.
Graduated from university of Pisa, in Italy in 2014 as a veterinary surgeon, Alessandra moved to the UK in 2015 and after working in food safety and in a small animal clinic in Southampton, joined Anderson's Vet Clinic in October 2016. Alessandra has a particular interest in ultrasound diagnostics, does not have animals at the moment but she's dreaming her future life in a farm in the countryside.
Simone joined Anderson's Vet Clinic as Practice Manager after many years working in the cosmetic industry as Training Manager. When the Practice Manager position at Anderson's Vet Clinic became available, Simone knew it would be the perfect opportunity for her to shift career focus, while working in a setting that would allow her plenty of puppy, kitten and people interaction. Simone lives in Kent with her husband. In her spare time Simone loves bird watching, walking, reading and geneology.
Jade joined us in July 2015 and has come to us with a passion for nursing. Jade studied animal care and animal management in 2013 passing with triple distinction***grades. During her course she volunteered in stables and shelters, this is where she found her true love of taking care of animals. Jade has two Siberian Huskies Hutch and Luna, cat Ginger, tortious Turbo and her one true love which is her horse Faith.
Alison joined us in October 2016. Alison has been nursing for 3 years. Alison has two dogs Gemma who is a Jack russell cross chihuahua and Buster a border terrrier. Both dogs have done obedience and agility. In Alison's spare time she enjoys dancing, latin and ballroom, rock and roll and salsa.
Amy joined us in January 2017. Amy comes with a wealth of experience and has a huge passion for all animals big and small. She has a Shih Tzu cross called Barney and two cats named Loca and Holly. Amy loves eating out, meeting up with friends and taking Barney on adventures.
Amy joined us in May 2017, Amy started nursing last year 2016, she has always wanted to work with animals and is very pasionate about nursing. Amy has a deaf Jack Russel called Leo, three gerbils and one duck with hatching ducklings in progress.
Dan has been working with us for the past three years. He is currently at the university of Surry Studying Veterinary Medicine and due to gradutate in 2020, but despite all the hard studying still enjoys helping out at the practice.
Dan owns Magnus a dobermann, Teddy a pomeranian and a few cats.
Sophie joined us in August 2016. Sophie has previously worked in the veterinary industry. She has a huge passion for client care and taking on all challenges. She has a dog called Skye and a horse called Talulah. Sophie enjoys seeing her friends on the weekend and spending time with her son.
