Our nursing team ensures a comfortable and loving time spent here for all admitted patients.
Patrick Dooley BSc BVSc MRCVS
Patrick graduated from the university of Ondersterpoordt, South Africa in 1990 with a Batchelor of Veterinary Science degree. He also has a second degree in animal agriculture which he obtained at the University of Natal, South Africa. His areas of interest are small animals and soft tissue surgery.
Patrick feels that the most rewarding part of his job is sharing a pets life from birth through to the senior years. "When I am there from the first puppy/kitten visit all the way through to the time to say goodbye, and I have had the opportunity to help the pet live a good life, I feel a sense of fulfillment and privilege that I have been able to share such an amazing journey with that pet."
Outside of work Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, reading, walking, cooking and just enjoying life in general. He loves sports and enjoys keeping tabs on just about any sport you want to name. Patrick is a member of the BSAVA association and the SAVA association.
Dan joined our practice in 2014 as Veterinary Care Assistant while studying veterinary medicine at the University of Surrey. He qualified in July 2020 and is now a full time member of our Veterinary team. He brings with him a wealth of experience gained while training with us as a student, and of course an excellent qualification. His hobbies are cooking and dog walking and eating biscuits.
Simone joined Anderson's Vet Clinic as Practice Manager after many years working in the cosmetic industry as Training Manager. When the Practice Manager position at Anderson's Vet Clinic became available, Simone knew it would be the perfect opportunity for her to shift career focus, while working in a setting that would allow her plenty of puppy, kitten and people interaction. Simone lives in Kent with her husband. In her spare time Simone loves bird watching, walking, reading and geneology.
Amy is our registered veterinary nurse. Amy offers oral care clinics and bespoke weight clinics which are very popular. She has a deaf Jack Russell, called Leo, and she communicates with him using sign language and facial expressions. Amy is always happy to answer any questions.
Alison joined us in October 2016. She has two dogs: Reggie, a rottweiler and Ninja, a border terrier. Both dogs have completed obedience and agility training. In Alison's spare time she enjoys latin and ballroom dancing, rock and roll and salsa.
